How to Read your eBook

The eBooks that you’ll find on our site are in ePub format. The ePub format has been widely adopted by publishers and the makers of many eBook readers and should be readable on most modern eBook reading devices.

Step 1 – Download your eBook

Once you have made your eBook selections, proceed to the checkout and purchase your eBooks. Once you’ve completed the checkout process, you’ll be able to download your new purchases from a link in the email sent to you.

You will also be able to download any purchases you have made from the “Your Account” section of the website which means you’ll have access to your eBooks.

Once downloaded, you’ll be able to read your ebook in your preferred reader.

Step 2 – Reading your eBook

If you have purchased an eBook from our website, you have a wide range of options ranging from reading on your personal computer, on a dedicated eBook reading device, smartphone, or using devices such as the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

You might like to maintain a library of your eBooks on your personal computer, and transfer them to a particular reading device when desired. In this case, we’d suggest using freely-available software such as Calibre to maintain your library on your personal computer which will allow you to store, arrange, convert, and transfer your eBooks as needed. The Calibre site has a nice video and demo which provide plenty of useful information.

Reading your eBook on a Portable Device

There are many popular devices for reading eBooks like the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, although many other readers such as the Nook and Kobo Reader have been released into the market. There are also many free applications available for reading eBooks on these devices and are available on the Internet.

Reading your eBook on a Computer

We mentioned that Calibre provides a means of organizing your eBooks on your PC or Mac, and it also comes with a built-in eBook reader. For most modern eBook reading devices (with the notable exception of the Amazon Kindle), the ePub format is almost always the best format to use for reading eBooks.
