Recurring Charges and Subscriptions

GMR is working on the ability to process recurring charges or subscriptions. Subscriptions will allow GMR to charge customers on a regular basis with out additional input from the customer.

NOTE: This functionality is not available yet, but GMR can process recurring charges by sending Google Checkout email invoices to you. To find out more please go to the Email Invoices page which explains that GMR can send you an invoice to initiate each billing recurrence manually.

How does it work?

Google-handled Subscriptions are simple but powerful. GMR will simply specify the item to recur and how often it recurs. We may additionally specify a start date for when charging begins, a number of payment times, and a no-charge-after date to avoid off-by-one issues and guarantee an end point.

After the subscription is submitted, you don’t need to take any further action.

A customer can cancel a subscription by viewing the receipt page for the initial subscription order, then clicking the “Cancel Subscription” link.
