Full time missionary intern for Malawi Africa

The ideal candidate will be a single young adult who desires to invest their life into serving God and humanity as a missionary. In this apprenticing role the person will be trained to function in the following areas of ministry:

Applicants should have a stable and developed personality with a credible character in both the church and society. They must be able to communicate publicly and in a personal way. They must be physically in good health and able to live in a rural community wit severe heat in the summer. They must have a genuine love for people and be able to compassionately serve cross-culturally. Lastly the successful candidate must be able to raise their monthly support.

The missionary-intern will be able to grow and develop to a place where they will one day be able to lead a national base and team.

Volunteer Orphan Project Representatives

These are terrible and tragic statistics that point to the urgency and the critical hour we live. However this is also an opportunity for the Christian community to make a difference in a tangible way. Every village we visit has 20 to a hundred orphans and children at risk and daily these numbers are increasing. The relatives of these children are in dire need and in spite of their own impoverished state they absorb these children into their families. Sadly most of these are grandmothers who have lost their sons and daughters and they are to old to work in their fields and have no other source of food. Not only do these children face the loss of their parents but often they are taken into these homes that have no viable means to support them. They face loneliness, pain, hunger and most of all without outside intervention no hope.

GMR has a modal that works for caring for these children at risk PLUS their caregivers. We have tested the model and it works. It includes food, clothing, medical support, regular care and ministry from the church and loving leaders of the church. GMR USA does not keep one dime for administration or our costs. 100% goes to the children and the distribution costs. But this needs the help of volunteers and concerned partners.  $25.00 US supports the child and their caregivers. This money is given to GMR as a tax deductible (US and Canada) gift. However, to keep the momentum and to raise more partners we need Ministry Representatives who will share the vision.

The ideal candidates to represent these children at risk and GMR’s strategy are people who are passionate about making a difference in a world of pain through their sacrifice. They are organizers and have the ability to host people in homes, clubs, schools and churches. They are compassionate communicators who can inspire their audience to become a part of the solution.
